What is KORA SOUND?
KORA SOUND is a music marketplace built for AI music creators. Whether you use Suno, Soundverse, Mureka, or any other AI music tool — or even a traditional DAW — you can sell your tracks, stems, and AI prompts here. We’re a judgment-free space for creators who take their craft seriously.

Who is KORA SOUND for?
KORA SOUND is for two types of people: Creators who want to sell their music, and Buyers who are looking for high-quality tracks to license for their projects — YouTube videos, podcasts, apps, films, and more.

How do I sign up as an artist?
Click “Open Your Portal” on the homepage, then click “Create Your Space.” Choose a subscription plan on the Select Plan page and complete the checkout. Your account will be created automatically. After that, you’ll fill out a short artist registration form on your dashboard and you’re ready to start uploading.

Is KORA SOUND free to join?
Yes. Our KORA Starter plan is completely free and lets you upload up to 30 MP3 tracks, sell AI prompts, and earn 80% of every sale. If you want more features like WAV uploads, unlimited tracks, or faster payouts, you can upgrade to KORA Pro ($13.99/month) or KORA Unlimited ($23.99/month) at any time.

Do I need to be 18 to use KORA SOUND?
Yes. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, upload content, make purchases, or receive payouts.

Can I use KORA SOUND from any country?
Yes. KORA SOUND is accessible worldwide. However, all transactions and payouts are processed in US Dollars (USD) through Stripe. If you’re outside the United States, your bank may apply currency conversion fees.


2. FOR ARTISTS / CREATORS

What file formats can I upload?
That depends on your subscription tier. KORA Starter allows MP3 uploads only. KORA Pro adds high-quality WAV files. KORA Unlimited gives you full access to MP3, WAV, and Stems (multi-track files).

Can I sell bundles?
Yes. Paid subscription tiers (KORA Pro and KORA Unlimited) can create and sell bundles — collections of multiple tracks packaged together at a special price.

What are AI Prompts and can I sell them?
AI Prompts are the text instructions you used to generate your track in tools like Suno, Mureka, or similar AI music platforms. On KORA SOUND, prompts are a sellable product — buyers can purchase them alongside your track. All subscription tiers allow prompt selling.

What happens after I upload a track?
Every upload goes through a review process before it becomes available for purchase. Your track will start with a “Pending” status while it’s screened for copyright matches, metadata accuracy, and audio quality. You’ll receive an email once your track is approved or if there’s an issue.

How long does the review process take?
Most tracks are reviewed within minutes through our automated screening system. In some cases — such as when a track is flagged for manual review or during high-volume periods — the process may take up to 72 hours. You’ll always be notified by email when your track status changes.

Why was my track rejected?
Tracks can be rejected for several reasons: a copyright match was detected, the AI disclosure tag was incorrect or missing, the track was created on a free-tier AI plan that doesn’t grant commercial rights, audio quality was below our minimum standards, or metadata was incomplete or misleading. You’ll receive an email explaining the specific reason.

Can I resubmit a rejected track?
Yes, if the reason for rejection can be fixed. For example, if your metadata was incomplete, you can correct it and upload again. If the rejection was due to a copyright match, you’ll need to resolve the underlying issue first.

How do I appeal a rejection?
Email info@korasound.studio with your username, the track title, the rejection reason you received, and a clear explanation of why you believe the decision was incorrect. We’ll review your appeal within 5 business days and the outcome is final.

What is AI disclosure tagging?
When uploading, you must tag your track as Human-Created, AI-Generated, or Hybrid (AI + Human). This is mandatory — not optional. It ensures transparency for buyers. Misrepresenting the origin of your track is a serious violation that can result in account termination.

Do I keep the rights to my music?
You retain all rights that you legally hold in your content. For fully human-created music, that means full copyright ownership. For AI-generated content, the legal landscape around copyright is still evolving and varies by jurisdiction — KORA SOUND does not make claims about the copyrightability of AI-generated music. What we guarantee is that KORA SOUND will never claim ownership of your content, and when you remove your content from the platform, our right to host and display it ends immediately.

How much do I earn per sale?
KORA SOUND takes a small commission from each sale, and you keep the rest. KORA Starter: you keep 80% (KORA SOUND keeps 20%). KORA Pro: you keep 85% (KORA SOUND keeps 15%). KORA Unlimited: you keep 90% (KORA SOUND keeps 10%). All percentages are calculated on net revenue after payment processing fees.

When do I get paid?
Payout frequency depends on your tier. KORA Starter receives monthly payouts (processed on the 1st business day of each month) with a minimum balance of $20.00 USD. KORA Pro receives weekly payouts (every Friday) with a minimum balance of $20.00 USD. KORA Unlimited receives instant payouts after every sale with no minimum threshold — you earn it, you get it.

Can I delete my account?
Yes. You can delete your account directly from your Artist Dashboard at any time — no emails or waiting required. Your content and personal data will be removed from our servers within 30 days. Tracks already purchased by buyers before your deletion remain accessible to those buyers under their purchased license.


3. FOR BUYERS

Do I need an account to browse music on KORA SOUND?
No. Anyone can visit KORA SOUND and listen to tracks without creating an account or signing up. You only need an account when you want to make a purchase.

What are the license tiers?
KORA SOUND offers five license tiers depending on how you plan to use the track. Personal License is for private, non-commercial use only. Standard Commercial covers YouTube, Spotify, podcasts, and social media ads (up to 500,000 streams). Extended Commercial adds mobile apps, video games, retail music, and physical copies (up to 1,000,000 streams). Broadcast / Sync covers TV, film, radio, and major streaming platforms like Netflix. Marketplace Buyout gives you an exclusive license — the track is permanently removed from sale and no one else can purchase it.

How do I know which license I need?
Think about where the track will be used. If it’s just for personal listening, the Personal License is enough. If you’re making money from it — a YouTube video, a podcast, an ad — you need at least a Standard Commercial license. If you’re unsure, go one tier higher to be safe, or contact us at info@korasound.studio and we’ll help you choose.

Can I get a refund?
Because all content is digital and delivered instantly, all sales are final. Refunds are only issued if the downloaded file is corrupted, you received the wrong file, or you were charged twice for the same purchase. Refund requests must be submitted to info@korasound.studio within 7 days of purchase.

Can I resell a track I purchased?
No. Your license gives you the right to use the track in your projects, not to resell the raw audio file. You also cannot claim copyright ownership of any purchased track.

What does it mean when a track is labeled AI-Generated?
It means the track was created using an AI music tool. KORA SOUND requires all creators to honestly disclose whether their music is Human-Created, AI-Generated, or Hybrid. This is clearly shown on every track listing so you always know what you’re buying. Keep in mind that copyright registration may not be available for AI-generated content in some jurisdictions.


4. PAYMENTS & SUBSCRIPTIONS

What payment methods does KORA SOUND accept?
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. You can pay with major credit and debit cards. KORA SOUND never stores your card details — all payment information is handled directly by Stripe, which is certified to the highest level of payment security (PCI DSS Level 1).

Can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription?
Yes. You can upgrade your plan at any time from your Artist Dashboard. When you upgrade, you’ll immediately get access to the features of your new tier. You can also downgrade at the end of your current billing cycle.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?
If you cancel your paid subscription, your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will be deactivated. Your tracks will be removed from public sale and buyers will no longer be able to purchase them. Tracks that were already purchased by buyers before your cancellation remain accessible to those buyers under their purchased license. If you change your mind, you’re always welcome to come back — simply sign up again and choose a plan to reactivate your presence on KORA SOUND.

What happens if my payment fails?
If a subscription renewal payment fails, we’ll notify you by email and retry the payment. If the issue isn’t resolved, your subscription will eventually be deactivated. You won’t lose any content that’s already on the platform.

How do payouts work for artists?
All payouts are sent via Stripe in US Dollars. KORA Starter receives monthly payouts on the 1st business day of each month. KORA Pro receives weekly payouts every Friday. KORA Unlimited receives instant payouts after every sale. Starter and Pro tiers require a minimum balance of $20.00 USD before a payout is initiated. Balances below the threshold roll over to the next payout cycle.

Are there any hidden fees?
No. The only costs are your subscription fee (if you choose a paid tier) and the platform commission on each sale (20% for Starter, 15% for Pro, 10% for Unlimited). Standard payment processing fees from Stripe apply to all transactions — these are industry standard and not set by KORA SOUND.

Do I need to pay taxes on my earnings?
KORA SOUND does not provide tax advice. As a creator, you are responsible for determining, reporting, and paying any applicable taxes on your earnings. We recommend consulting a tax professional, especially if you’re earning significant income through the platform.

Is KORA SOUND available in my currency?
All transactions and payouts are processed in US Dollars (USD). If you’re outside the United States, your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion fees — these are outside of KORA SOUND’s control.


5. COPYRIGHT & DMCA

How does KORA SOUND protect my music from being stolen?
We take content protection seriously. All uploaded tracks go through automated audio fingerprinting to detect unauthorized copies. Our platform uses secure, expiring download URLs so that only verified buyers can access purchased files. We also maintain strict robots.txt rules that block known AI training crawlers and data harvesting bots from accessing your content.

Will KORA SOUND ever use my music to train AI?
Never. This is one of our core promises. KORA SOUND will never use your content, metadata, or AI prompts to train, fine-tune, or develop any artificial intelligence or machine learning model. We will never sell or share your content with any third-party AI company or data broker. This commitment is written into our Terms of Service.

What should I do if someone uses my track without a license?
If you discover that your music is being used without authorization, you can file a DMCA takedown notice. Visit our DMCA & Copyright Policy page at korasound.studio/dmca-copyright-policy for full instructions and our online takedown form at korasound.studio/dmca-takedown-policy.

What happens when a DMCA claim is filed against my track?
Your track will be immediately suspended from sale while we investigate. You’ll be notified by email within 48 hours with the details of the claim. If the claim is valid, the track will be permanently removed. If you believe the claim is incorrect, you have the right to submit a counter-notification — instructions are included in the email you receive.

What is the repeat infringer policy?
Artists who receive 3 valid DMCA takedown notices within a 12-month period will have their account permanently suspended or terminated, including forfeiture of any unpaid earnings. We take copyright infringement very seriously.

I used a free AI plan to create my track. Can I sell it on KORA SOUND?
No. Most free-tier AI music plans do not grant commercial use rights. KORA SOUND requires that all AI-generated content was created under an active paid subscription that explicitly allows commercial use. Uploading content made on a free AI plan is a violation of our Terms of Service and will result in removal of the track.

What if copyright law changes around AI-generated music?
The legal landscape around AI-generated content is evolving rapidly. KORA SOUND monitors these developments closely, but we cannot guarantee how future laws or court rulings may affect AI-generated music rights. As a creator, you accept responsibility for staying informed about changes to the terms of the AI tools you use. Any important legal updates that affect KORA SOUND and its users will be published on our Terms of Service page and on our website as soon as possible.


6. ACCOUNT & PRIVACY

How do I reset my password?
Go to the Sign In page and click “Lost your password?” Enter your email address and you’ll receive a password reset link. If the email doesn’t arrive, check your spam folder. If you still don’t receive it, contact us at support@korasound.studio.

Can I change my artist name?
Yes. You can update your artist name from the Profile section in your Artist Dashboard. Keep in mind that your artist name is your public identity on KORA SOUND — changing it frequently may confuse buyers who already know your work.

What personal information does KORA SOUND collect?
We collect your name, email address, artist name, and billing address when you create an account. Payment card details are handled exclusively by Stripe — KORA SOUND never sees or stores your card numbers. For full details, read our Privacy Policy.

Does KORA SOUND share my data with third parties?
No. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share limited data with essential service providers: Stripe for payments, Google Workspace for email, and our hosting provider for website operations. All providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for anything other than their specific service.

Does KORA SOUND use cookies?
Yes. We use essential cookies to keep you logged in, process purchases, and maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. When you first visit KORA SOUND, a cookie consent banner will let you review and manage your preferences.

What are my privacy rights?

Is KORA SOUND safe to use?
Yes. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Payments are handled by Stripe with the highest level of security certification. We use firewall protection, secure download URLs, and rate limiting to prevent unauthorized access. Your password is stored using one-way encryption and can never be viewed by anyone — including us.
